We are thrilled to have won two awards for our work with Gilson; Outstanding Evolution, Customer Experience, B2B at the Direct Commerce Awards 2024 and Silver in B2B Ecommerce Website of the Year at the UK Ecommerce Awards 2024.

Combining our skills and talent, the project embraced the spirit of true collaboration to produce an innovative self-service customer portal. Working with Gilson’s internal digital team, we have proved that it is possible to provide an exceptional experience for B2B customers.
The project involved Gilson replatforming to Adobe Commerce, enabling an omnichannel view for the portal as well as migrating the Product Information Management (PIM) and EDI implementation. Compared to other areas of the site, the portal has generated:
- A 245.6% higher average order value
- 30% higher number of views
- 30 seconds more engagement time.
- A reduction in order enquiries as users can view status updates, account balances, and complete payments within the portal.

To further optimise and grow Gilson’s ecommerce website, our team are already looking at a ‘subscribe and save’ functionality to enhance the user experience as well as other innovative developments.
