If you’re worried about your ecommerce site from a hacking attack, we are able to help.
Adobe announced back in September 2018 that it will end support for the Magento 1.x release for Magento Commerce and Magento Open Source on June 30, 2020.
They have been working with customers, partners and developers on transition plans since and thousands of merchants have already migrated over to Magento 2. However, there are as many as 95,000 retailers who have failed to upgrade to version 2.
It was reported on 12 September 2020, that thousands of online stores have been hacked and security researchers have described the violation as the “largest campaign documented to date“.
Security needs to be considered in the highest regard for ecommerce stores and especially when handling data pertaining to customers and financial transactions.
If you are still operating on the Magento 1 platform or worried about the security of your ecommerce store, contact us now for help.
